How to get extra points when entering a university?
In international and national competitions, which were held within the framework of six congresses of the XII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, over fifty schoolchildren and students, both from Russia and from foreign countries, became winners. Diplomas of laureates will bring valuable additional points to those who apply to USUE, including master’s degree studies.
Children of the first to the eleventh grades took part in the competitions of the Congress of Schoolchildren. About twenty persons became laureates, and if one of them decides to enter Ural State University of Economics, five points will be added to their USE results, given that for some specialties there are 15-20 people per place who want to study; these additional points can help with admission.
In this respect, please keep in mind that winning competitions does not give an advantage if an applicant applies for a second higher education, as the second higher education can only be got on a fee-paying basis. However, additional points will help with admission to the master’s degree studies. They award two points for the win in the competitions of the EEYF congresses. You can use additional points next year after winning the competitions of five congresses of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum: the Congress of Economists and Financiers, the Congress of Management and Law, the Congress of Entrepreneurship and Engineering, the Congress of Strategists, and the Congress of Innovators. Thus, in 2022, when entering master’s degree studies, the winners of the XI EEYF competitions can use their additional two points.
