The chair of the Yekaterinburg Association of Employers under the Sverdlovsk regional Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Andrei Misyura delivered a public lecture at Ural State University of Economics.
The head of one of the leading enterprises in the rocket and space industry in Russia spoke about the issues a company leader often faced in managing business processes and provided some real-life examples. “Very often the meanings of “a leader” and “a manager” are confused because many people think them to be synonyms. This is not true. A leader is one who is responsible for making decisions that affect the lives of others. And a manager is a person who was assigned the functions of managing the organization, the team,” Mr. Misyura began his lecture.
