The III Ural Economic Forum continued with the session "Social and Economic Policy and Management Technologies in the Era of Digital Economy" moderated by Alexander Kokovikhin, director of the USUE Institute of Digital Management Technologies and Information Security.
“Over the past three years, management technologies in the world have changed dramatically. Of course, this is directly related to the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. Today, against the background of global digitalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, remote HR management is here to stay. This fundamentally new stage makes it possible to use the huge amount of data that we have obtained thanks to the computerization of processes. We can optimize them, increase labor productivity, and minimize costs. This is a big challenge for management science!" Alexander Yurievich opened the meeting.
Alfiya Kuznetsova, Deputy Chairperson of the Bashkortostan Branch of the Free Economic Society, Deputy Director for Research at the Institute for Strategic Studies of the Republic of Bashkortostan, followed up with a report on the promising areas for the development of industrial policy in the Republic of Bashkortostan:
“The industry of our republic makes up about 40% of the gross regional product and produces about 20% of jobs. In the structure of industrial production, processing enterprises comprise about 75%, mining - 14%, electricity and gas supply - 9%, and water supply and sanitation - about 2%. Bashkortostan is one of the largest producers of petroleum products in the Russian Federation and we take the 1st place in the production of diesel fuel.”
