SAP Company thanks USUE
Expressing gratitude for the fruitful joint work, the director of the regional office of SAP CIS in Yekaterinburg, Konstantin Zamaraev, presented letters of thanks to USUE rector Yakov Silin, director of the Institute of Digital Technologies Management and Information Security, Alexander Kokovikhin, head of the Department of Business Informatics, Dmitry Nazarov, and to the staff of the department. In return, Konstantin Zamaraev was presented with Intelligent Business Analytics book authored by Dmitry Nazarov and Darya Ryzhkina, a USUE graduate, chief expert of the Yekaterinburg Regional Development Center (Central Bank of the Russian Federation).
SAP is one of the world's leading manufacturers of software solutions for business process management, developing solutions that simplify the efficient processing of data and information flows throughout an organization. Since 2019, USUE has become an official partner of the company's university alliance, which consists of 80 universities all over the world. On the initiative of the Department of Business Informatics and personally its head, Dmitry Nazarov, the Olympiad on SAP products was included in the program of EEYF. USUE teachers are actively introducing the study of the SAP product lines into the curriculum: courses on business analytics, business processes management, enterprise architecture, and much more. Two such courses for USUE Master's students are taught by the company's specialists themselves.
In September, teachers of the USUE Institute of Digital Management Technologies and Information Security took part in the SAP conference, to be indexed in Scopus and Springer. As part of the conference, there were competitions on digital products, in which students of the Department of Business Informatics participated for the first time.
