CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: REALITY OR UTOPIA?
The international scientific and practical conference “Management and Entrepreneurship in the Paradigm of Sustainable Development” has started at USUE. The event timed to the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship is held for the second time. Besides USUE, universities of Moscow, Belarus, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Israel, and the Czech Republic joined the conference.
The organizers of the conference are USUE, the Ural branch of VEO of Russia, the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Sverdlovsk Regional Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs with the participation of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Sverdlovsk region.
The purpose of the conference is the organization of a discussion platform where representatives of scientific and business communities and government agencies will be able to discuss and develop scientific and practical recommendations on how to solve actual problems of management and sustainable development of entrepreneurship in Russia and abroad.
The event began with a plenary session opened by the director of the USUE Institute of Management and Information Technologies Mr. Alexander Kokovikhin, USUE Vice-Rector for Research Ms. Elena Dvoryadkina, Deputy Minister for Investment and Development of the Sverdlovsk region Ms.Elena Khlybova, and Vice President of the Ural Chamber of Commerce Mr. Daniil Mazurovsky.
