Best among 500 universities
Ural State University of Economics took first place in the ranking of the Znanium electronic library system among specialized economic universities in Russia.
The evaluation criterion for compiling the ranking was the number of pages read by users representing their university in the Znanium electronic library system (ELS). In total, they evaluated more than 500 Russian universities.
Znanium is an information and educational environment for colleges, universities, and libraries. The collection of Znanium currently contains over 90 thousand documents, more than 32 thousand textbooks and teaching aids. Leading educational institutions in Russia build their educational process based on the content of Znanium ELS.
USUE ranks the first in its specialized area, and, in the overall ranking of the TOP-30 most reading universities in the Russian Federation, USUE took 12th place: in 2024, its students and teachers read 1,047,627 pages. Only two universities in the Sverdlovsk region have entered this ranking.

In 2023, USUE also was the leader in the ranking of the electronic library system among economic universities.
