A USUE master’s student was appointed the Chairperson of the Junior Government

Pavel Letov, a student of the USUE Institute of Master’s Studies, was appointed the Chairperson of the Junior Government of the Sverdlovsk region. The Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Yevgeny Kuyvashev signed the corresponding order on May 31, 2022. The term of office of the sixth Junior Government is until April 20, 2024.

Before that, Pavel Letov headed the apparatus of this junior self-government body. Pavel Letov was born on August 25, 1999 in the city of Lysva, Perm Krai. Since 2017, he has been studying at Ural State University of Economics majoring in Finance and Credit. He is the author of scientific articles on economics and financing of national projects and a recipient of scholarships from the President of the Russian Federation, the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region, and other scholarships.

The Junior Government is an advisory body under the Government of the Sverdlovsk region, which functions as a “personnel lift” (a talent pipeline) of the most talented, enterprising, professional youth in the system of government bodies. It is formed by competition, includes young people aged from 18 to 35 years who act voluntarily. The Junior Government operates on the principle of “understudy” (each member of the Government of the Sverdlovsk region is assigned an understudy - a member of the Junior Government of the Sverdlovsk region).

Pavel Letov, a student of the Institute of Master’s Studies, received a position in the Junior Government of the Sverdlovsk region.
