Very soon, on June 20, Ural State University of Economics will open its doors to prospective students. How can you properly prepare for admission and avoid missing out on important steps?

The modern admissions process is rapidly transforming into a digital environment. Before submitting their documents, applicants should pay particular attention to the information available on the university’s official website. The applicants’ page contains all necessary information about admissions rules and requirements. Please follow this link.
Applicants may apply to five universities, choosing up to five areas of study within each university. Besides, they may also view different specialties within these areas. Graduates of technical schools and colleges receive expanded admissions opportunities, including the right to take internal entrance examinations for areas of study that correspond to their major, while Unified State Exam (USE) results are required only for non-major areas of study.
An important aspect of submitting applications is that you must specify your preferred areas of study: state-funded and fee-paying tuition. Please note that admission to state-funded places begins on the first ten days of August, followed by processing applications for fee-paying tuition. Competition determines the allocation of state-funded and fee-paying places.
A passing grade is set based on the results of the competition. Applicants may have different statuses: a “highest priority” guarantees admission, while a “passing priority” allows admission under certain conditions. It is important to closely monitor both updates and your position on the lists.
Starting June 20, all applicants will track their status on the competition lists on the university’s website. This year’s special feature is that applicants will be identified by their individual code but not by their last name or SNILS number.
The enrollment process will be fully completed by September 1.
We look forward to seeing you at Ural State University of Economics!
