We expand the boundaries: USUE at the Youth Interparliamentary Assembly in Kyrgyzstan
The delegation of Ural State University of Economics represents the University at the Youth Interparliamentary Assembly of the Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS) within the framework of the V International Cultural and Educational Forum "Children of the Commonwealth" (Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan).
The event is attended by representatives of youth parliamentary delegations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Russian Federation, Republics of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The USUE delegation consists of Yakov Silin, USUE Rector, Irina Martyanova, head of the Department of Admission and Pre-University Training, Ivan Golubykh, chairperson of the USUE Association of Student Unions, and four high school students - participants of the Eurasian session of school seniors.
Each day a delegation represents its country. Our delegation will present USUE, Yekaterinburg, and the Sverdlovsk region. As part of the career guidance day, the delegation will hold master classes, talk about the university, and present souvenirs.
The meeting with the IPA CIS members was held in the format of a briefing. Young parliamentarians of the Assembly told about their activities, about what personal and professional qualities a deputy should have, and how to be successful in political career and public activities. Answering the questions of the school students of our team, the participants of the meeting discussed the problems of education and employment of young people. A lively discussion was arisen by questions on the dependence on Internet and social networks, on the threat of involving young people in extremist activities, and how to resist it.
The forum discusses issues of preparation for the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students, as well as the activities of Rossotrudnichestvo in the field of youth international cooperation.
