USUE reinforces ties with Kyrgyzstan

At the end of June, in Bishkek, a meeting was held on the cooperation of two high-rated economic universities: Ural State University of Economics and M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz Economic University.

USUE was represented by its Rector Yakov Silin and the head of the Department of Admission and Pre-University Training Irina Martyanova.

Two universities agreed to continue cooperation. The parties consider the development of economic education on the territory of the states-parties to the agreement as the most important condition for their interaction. They discussed an exchange of students, a program of joint degrees, and online lectures in two universities. They touched upon the creation of interstate dissertation councils, the possibility of inviting experts as opponents for theses defense, and joint publications in scientific journals. The delegation of USUE invited Kyrgyz Economic University to the celebration of its 50th anniversary and to the IX Eurasian Economic Youth Forum.

USUE members visited Bishkek schools - university partners: gymnasium №29 and school №62, where Yakov Silin told about the University and invited the school students to study at USUE.

Before visiting Bishkek, the USUE delegation visited the Youth Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States within the framework of the forum "Children of the Commonwealth" (Cholpon-Ata).

USUE pays much attention to international cooperation. Today students from 32 countries of the world study at the University, and this number is growing. 80% of the total number of students are citizens of the former republics of USSR including Kyrgyzstan.
