FAIRYTALE WORLD MAP INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION: BEST YOUTH PROJECTS AWARDED

February 22, at MEGA, an awards ceremony of Fairytale World Map international competition took place as a part of the Globe of the Ural Taste gastronomic festival. 256 representatives from 7 countries of the world took part in the competition. The competition was initiated by the USUE Department of Tourism Business and Hospitality and the Park of Fairy Tales in the town of Aramil with the support of the Ural Union of Travel Industry. 
 
The winners were awarded by the USUE rector Yakov Silin and the president of the Ural Union of Travel Industry and the founder of the Park of Fairy Tales Natalya Larionova. Memorable gifts to the finalists in six nominations were presented by the competition partners: Park of Fairy Tales, Faberge dental clinic, The Malachite Box project, and MEGA.    
 
The competition was aimed at promoting the scientific and professional activities of high school students, students of secondary vocational institutions and universities in the development of domestic and inbound tourism taking into account the national cultural values ​​of countries. The nominees of the competition could be comprehensive campaigns ( cases) targeted to strengthening the tourism appeal of a country, city, or region for youth, residents, investors, tourists, internal migrants, and various partners, or projects popularizing territories (including through fairy tale characters, legends, or folk tales), as well as implemented creative ideas in the field of territory promoting tools (toolkit).
