Today at USUE, Yakov Silin met with representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation.

The event was attended by USUE Vice-Rector for Social Work and Youth Policy, Roman Krasnov, first assistant to the Secretary General of the National Defense Council of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Major General Mohamed Tawfik Ghonim, Deputy Secretary General of the National Defense Council of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ahmed Hassan, and CEO of Arab Media, Ahmed Bahig.
USUE Rector Yakov Silin kicked the meeting off. He spoke about the university, its areas of training, its projects, such as the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, and its international cooperation.

“We have long been cooperating with your country and universities. Today, 66 Egyptian citizens study at USUE, and many Egyptian graduates have already received their degrees. I am confident that our good relations will contribute to further cooperation,” Yakov Silin noted.
The foreign party expressed interest in developing an educational partnership with USUE.

“I am truly delighted to meet you. We are interested in organizing joint professional development programs with your university, as well as internships for our specialists,” emphasized Mohamed Tawfik Ghonim.
Following the meeting, Yakov Silin confirmed USUE’s readiness to cooperate in these areas. The parties agreed to discuss these issues in more detail.
International cooperation is an integral and important part of USUE’s strategic development. For example, the university is developing efficient, mutually beneficial partnerships with foreign universities. This collaboration includes the establishment of Russian Language Centers in Sri Lanka and Egypt.
