Our duty is to help OUR OWN

Today, the Ural State University of Economics sent a batch of humanitarian aid to servicemen participating in the special military operation in the LPR and DPR. The weight of the cargo is 200 kilograms.

A chainsaw, 2 radio stations, an electric generator, a screwdriver, a gas stove and gas cylinders, a sleeping bag, towels, socks, liquid soap, and shaving foam were sent to Donbass. The People's Front is helping with the delivery.

"Through the efforts of the staff and students of the Ural State University of Economics, necessary things are regularly sent for our soldiers in the SVO zone. We send humanitarian aid not only through the People's Front, but also through the Yekaterinburg administration and various charitable organizations. Everyone is interested in helping the servicemen. Our university will continue this work," said Nikita Vasiliev, Head of the Department of Social Work at the Ural State University of Economics.

The current batch of humanitarian aid is already the fourth this year. In May, USUE sent food, a portable power station, and personal hygiene products to Kherson and Zaporizhia.

The collection of things needed on the front line continues. Every weekday from 10:00 to 16:00 you can bring canned goods, cereals, pasta, new clothes, personal hygiene products, and office supplies to office #251 (USUE main building).

The Ural State University of Economics is one of the first Russian universities to support the special military operation. Since the beginning of the SVO, USUE has sent almost 11 tons of humanitarian aid to Donbass.
