It is necessary to study better: USUE Master's programs meet applicants!

24 educational programs in 11 areas of training of the Institute of Master’s Degree Programs of Ural State University of Economics were presented to future applicants at the Open Day. The guests could take part in a concert and entertainment program, a prize drawing, business games, and masterclasses.

The Open Day began on the square in front of the University main building. The core groups of USUE institutes entertained the guests with choreographic performances demonstrating that the University of Economics is not only a place where they listen to lectures and take exams but also a territory for the development of each student’s creative potential. The guests willingly took part in the dance flash mob.

“This is one of the best times in your life. You can become more successful and continue your professional development through a Master's program. Thank to those who came today! You are not just guests but young people who think about the future! I can confidently say that the majority of USUE graduates had made a successful career,"- addressed future entrants the acting USUE Rector, Vice-Rector for Social Work Roman Krasnov.

For a successful career as a manager, applicants need to improve their communication skills. Irina Dobrovolskaya, a guru of public speaking and a teacher of a speech studio, provided such an opportunity to the visitors of the Open Day.

“This year, in 11 areas of training, we are implementing 24 educational programs, two of which are in English. Those who plan to fill state-financed openings can submit documents through applicant's personal accounts, through postal operators, and through the portal of Government Services, or they may bring them personally to our University,” explained Dmitry Karkh, USUE  Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Learning and Quality of Training.

“Master's programs at USUE are implemented in different forms: traditional, in a foreign language, teaching with a number of disciplines in English, as well as accelerated one - for professional training of employees of enterprises,” Alla Matveeva, director of the USUE Institute of Master's Degree Programs, added.

The guests of the Open Day had a chance to personally meet the directors of institutes and teachers of USUE, take part in the business game "Project Management" and in the masterclass "Personal Branding", and try their luck in the drawing of prizes.

The enrollment campaign at the USUE Institute of Master’s Degree Programs starts on June 18, entrance tests for applicants to the state-financed places will begin on August 6, for intra- extramural studies and extramural form of education - on July 16. In addition, on July 19, USUE launches preparatory courses for master’s program applicants. We remind you that anyone who has a Bachelor’s degree can become a Master's student at USUE, regardless of his/her field of study and area of training.
