This monograph is devoted to understanding the essence of the new industrialization as a new phenomenon in economic science, as well as revealing the potential of the Ural macroregion, which allows taking decisive part in the transition of the region to a new industrial economy.
The articles of the work are structured in two areas.

The first chapter of the monograph "The New Industrialization and Economic Renaissance of Russia" reveals the theoretical and methodological foundations of neo-industrialization, presents the macroeconomic situation in Russia and its characteristics in a multifaceted manner, and suggests the main mechanisms for implementing the program for the neo-industrialization of Russia. The thesis is also based on the fact that large-scale infrastructure projects are becoming extremely important in the industrialization of Russia. It also refers to the intellectual resources needed to carry out the new industrialization, and the GOELRO plan as the first example of strategic planning for industrialization in Russia.

The second chapter "Ural Vector in the Strategy of Neo-industrial Development of Russia" shows that the economic processes that took place in the space of the Ural macroregion at the break of centuries caused a natural urge to find ways out of the current negative situation and move to a new growth trajectory. The attention is focused on the fact that the middle geo-economic position of the Ural region in the Russian space gives the Urals a special status, allows it to be a mediator and at the same time an active entity (player) in the implementation of a new industrialization of the country; the idea of the influence of the new industrialization on the efficiency of the socio-economic development of the Middle Urals was constructed; the problems of implementing the new industrial and technological policy are revealed, and a methodical tool for conducting a new industrial and technological policy is formed and verified using the example of metallurgical production.

The vectors of the strategic development of the Urals city-factories, which are a unique Russian phenomenon of the XVIII - XIX centuries, are shown; the processes of transformation of the economy of the Urals largest cities in connection with the transition to the model of neo-industrialization are demonstrated; conceptual installations of industrial renewal of mono-profile cities of the Ural region are presented.
