The new victory of USUE basketball players!
We congratulate the women's basketball team of Ural State University of Economics with a double victory at the home tournament within the Russian Railways Student League Championship. Other participants were the teams of the Surgut State University (SurGU) and Udmurt State University (UdSU).
The tournament was held at the USUE sports complex for three days, and each of the teams played with both opponents. Basketball players from USUE and SurGU were the first to meet. Even though this season the composition of the USUE team was 80% renewed, our girls won with a score of 67:57.
The next match was between basketball players from Izhevsk and Surgut, and the first won with a score of 73:49. The tournament ended with a game between the teams of USUE and UdSU. Again, the victory with a score of 80:65 was won by the students of Ural State University of Economics!
Now, our girls are preparing for the final “Challenge A” tour in the city of Yoshkar-Ola, which starts on November 17.
