New heights!

During the plenary session of the Ural Economic Forum (UEF) on October 16, they made an important move towards ensuring that the advanced knowledge and ideas of the Ural School of Economics contribute to the development of the economy of the entire country.


From now on, the UEF will be held as part of the Moscow Academic Economic Forum. The agreement thereon was signed by Yakov Silin, USUE rector, vice-president of the Free Economic Society of Russia, and Sergey Bodrunov, President of the Free Economic Society of Russia, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The Moscow Academic Economic Forum (MAEF) is a unique intellectual platform that merges the efforts of the country’s leading experts and scientists, representatives of the educational community, and government bodies to solve the problems of Russia’s socio-economic development.

In 2024, MAEF set absolute records for the number of participants: over 15.5 thousand people from 76 regions of Russia and 32 countries of the world took part in it. These are scientists, government officials, experts, specialists from various regions of Russia, as well as from Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, India, Syria, Cuba, Greece and other countries.

The Ural Economic Forum was included in the architecture of the Moscow Academic Economic Forum
