New level

The scientific journal of the Ural State University of Economics "Digital Models and Solutions" was assigned category K2 in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC).

Based on the decision of the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission on economic theory, finance and global economy, the scientific publication of USUE "Digital Models and Solutions" was assigned category K2 in the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation in the scientific specialty Mathematical, statistical and instrumental methods of economics (economic sciences).

The journal "Digital Models and Solutions" was included in the K2 category for the first time. It includes high-quality scientific publications of the average level. Only the K1 category is higher, which includes only 25% of all scientific journals included in the HAC list.

The criteria for determining the category were the scientific citation indices of the publication and the authors published on its pages, the frequency of views of the publication's articles during the year, the level of authority of the authors, the uniqueness and quality of their articles, the level of the reviewing organization and the founding organization.

This journal publishes scientific articles in the following sections: systems analysis; management, information processing and artificial intelligence; economic and statistical methods of data analysis; intelligent data analysis; mathematical and simulation models of the economy; information systems management; economic systems management; public and corporate governance strategies; strategic and game models.

In 2023, the journal "Digital Models and Solutions" demonstrated rapid growth in the two-year impact factor of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), becoming one of the most popular journals in the scientific field of "Informatics" (4th place); in the ranking of the two-year impact factor of the Russian Science Citation Index in the topic of "Organization and Management" in 2023, the journal took 14th place. In 2024, the journal was included in the List of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC).
