Combining experience, we look to the future with confidence
At USUE, within the second Forum of Rectors of Kyrgyz and Russian Universities, a ceremony of signing agreements between Kuban State Technological University and Ural State University of Economics took place.
The Cooperation Agreement was signed by USUE rector, Yakov Silin, and KubSTU president, Vladimir Lobanov. The two best universities in the Ural and the Krasnodar Krai will conduct joint scientific research, share pedagogical methods, and develop the academic mobility of professors for efficient work.
“When two strong universities sign an agreement, both become even stronger. Kuban State Technological University is one of the strongest universities in Russia, a leader in food technology. We would like to adopt best practices, combine our efforts to set joint scientific publications and dissertation councils, and work to support each other. Combining experience, we look to the future,” USUE rector Yakov Silin said.
Kuban State Technological University was founded in 1918; it trained students under the hard conditions of the Civil War. Developments of KubSTU in the food industry are highly valued at the federal level. In 2015, Kuban State Technological University became the laureate of RF Government prize in quality for achieving significant results in quality of products and services, as well as for implementing high-efficient management techniques.
USUE also pays great attention to bioengineering, biotechnology, and areas related to healthy nutrition. USUE has the Unified Laboratory Complex running an active research activity. Ural State University of Economics, a breeding ground of the best economists, will share experience with KubSTU.
“When two reputable universities join their efforts, it makes them richer, they do even better. Our task is to take the best that our partners have to use in our work, thereby increasing the efficiency and quality of the educational process, and scientific research,” Vladimir Lobanov, KubSTU president, said.
