As part of a working visit to St. Petersburg, Vice-Rector for Social Work and Youth Policy at Ural State University of Economics, Roman Krasnov, met with representatives of leading Russian universities in matter of developing cooperation.
The first meeting was with the Vice-Rector for International Affairs of Empress Catherine II Saint Petersburg Mining University, Evgeniy Lyubin. The parties discussed some issues of cooperation, interaction and joint training of specialists.

As Roman Krasnov noted, USUE is a member of the Nedra consortium of universities, which will allow students of the USUE Preparatory Faculty mastering engineering areas to continue their education at Saint Petersburg Mining University.
The second meeting took place with Sergey Solyonyi, Vice-Rector for Educational Technologies and Innovation of St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. The parties discussed international activities, cooperation, and interaction of universities in educational activities.

The visit is aimed at strengthening interregional ties and broadening options for developing educational programs at universities.
