Finalists of XIII EEYF from Azerbaijan have been announced

The national round of the international competition of research works of young scientists and students “Competitiveness of Territories” was held at the international platform of the XIII EEYF at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).

Over a hundred students from thirteen universities of the republic submitted their scientific papers of up to 45 pages, supplied with appendices, graphic explanations and other illustrative material, to the judges’ approval. The organizing committee chose the winner in each of the three sections of the competition.

In the Microeconomics section dedicated to the interaction of enterprises and organizations, the winner was a student of Azerbaijan State University of Economics Vadim Meshcheryakov. Works devoted to regional and sectoral institutions competed in the Mesoeconomics section. The winner in this section was also a UNEC student, Imran Keberlinsky. The Macroeconomics section brought together participants who write about the problems of the national and global economy. Fatima Agalarova, a student of the National Aviation Academy of Azerbaijan, gained the upper hand.

The winners will take part in the international final of the competition to be held at USUE as part of the XIII EEYF on April 26. Participants who took 2-5 places will participate in the competition online.

Besides, 15 students from Baku took part in the TikTok style challenge “A Hero of Our Time”. Students prepared short videos about outstanding people in their opinion: entrepreneurs, scientists, mentors at enterprises, and philanthropists - all those who today can become a role model for young people. The selection and awarding of the winners in this competition will take place at USUE during the forum.

At the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, 45 competitions will be held within six Congresses: Congress of Innovators, Congress of Management and Law, Congress of Economists and Financiers, Congress of Entrepreneurship and Engineering, Congress of Strategists, and Congress of Schoolchildren. They will bring together over 8,000 participants at 11 venues in Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. In total, almost 12 thousand participants, guests, experts, and delegates from 79 regions of the Russian Federation and 105 foreign countries of four continents will visit the forum events.
