Open to partnership with young countries
Rector of Ural State University of Economics, Yakov Silin received a delegation from Burkina Faso, a republic located in West Africa. The business meeting took place with Antoine Somdah, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burkina Faso to the Russian Federation, who visited Yekaterinburg for the second time as part of the 10th International Trade Fair INNOPROM. The diplomat has scheduled a visit to Ural State University of Economics to arrange for long-term partnership relations.
The parties discussed the perspectives for training students of Burkina Faso at USUE. The guest of honor expressed his interest in cooperation. The embassy, ??headed by Antoine Somdah, is currently the only representative office of Burkina Faso in Russia.
“The Ural Federal District is one of the heavily industrial regions of Russia and I am pleased to come here. African countries are young countries that need reliable partners in both business and science, including education,” Antoine Somdah, Ambassador of Burkina Faso, said.
