GOVERNMENT AND BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVES UPGRADE THEIR SKILLS AT USUE INSTITUTE OF CONTINUING EDUCATION
The Institute of Continuing Education of Ural State University of Economics began simultaneous implementation of several educational programs: Management of State and Municipal Procurement, Contract System in the Field of Procurement of Goods, Works, and Services, and An Expert in Procurement.
The attendees of educational courses for professional retraining and advanced training are heads and specialists of public authorities and local governments dealing with procurement, heads of procurement departments, and representatives of the business community.
Classes are held in an intra-extramural form with the use of distance educational technologies, so one can study at a time of one’s convenience without interrupting professional activities. The electronic distance learning system allows students to access training materials, test assignments, and videos of classes.
The additional education program An Expert in Procurement consists of 504 contact hours. It covers the issues of legal regulation of contractual relations, planning, implementation and control of purchases, and methods of determining suppliers. Besides, the trainees will gain proficiency in the procurement public discussion procedure.
Advanced training courses Municipal Procurement Management are implemented under contracts with the State Autonomous Institution for Continuing Vocational Education of the Sverdlovsk Region — "Regional Personnel Center for State and Municipal Administration"— and are held online.
