USUE TEACHERS - WINNERS OF THE Sverdlovsk Region Governor PRIZE

January 24, the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region, Yevgeny Kuyvashev presented prizes to the best professors, associate professors and university teachers in the region. The award ceremony was traditionally timed to the Russian Students’ Day.

The Governor’s prizes are awarded for a great contribution to strengthening the prestige of Ural higher education and training valuable specialists for the region’s economy. These awards are also a material support for higher education teachers.

Prizes of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region are awarded in the categories “Professor of the Year”, “Associate Professor of the Year,” and “Teacher of the Year”. Besides, there is a prize "For Special Merits in the Development of Higher Education in the Sverdlovsk Region".
The laureates were representatives of many universities in the Sverdlovsk region: Ural Federal University named after B.N. Yeltsin, Ural State University of Economics, Ural State Pedagogical University, Ural State Agrarian University, and others.

Among the laureates are Prof. Irina Tkachenko, chair of the USUE Department of Corporate Economics and Business Management (“Professor of the Year” category) and Dmitry Nazarov, Doctor of Economics, chair of the USUE Department of Business Informatics (“Assistant Professor of the Year” category).
