USUE Vice-Rector Elena Knyazeva took part in the opening of the exhibition «Energy in Transition — Powering Tomorrow»

The traveling exhibition was delivered to Yekaterinburg by the Consulate General of Germany and is demonstrated within the framework of the Year of Germany in Russia 2020-2021 and the Russian-German cross-sectional thematic year "Economy and Sustainable Development" 2020-2022.

It presents the experience of Germany in the transformation of energy supply and the transition to environmentally friendly energy supply and renewable energy sources.

“Energetics opens up new broad opportunities for the world. Transforming energy supplies to protect climate and resources is one of the greatest challenges for the global community. The goal of transformation is to provide safe, affordable and environmentally responsible energy supply for current and future generations," the statement of German Consulate General in Yekaterinburg said.  

“The issues of energy saving, sustainable economic, social, and environmental development are very important for USUE. This topic was discussed at the international diplomatic forum "Green Economy and Sustainable Development", which took place at the XI Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. Representatives of foreign countries who attended the forum took part in the discussion, and the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Mathias Kruse., was its honored guest,” commented the opening of the exhibition Elena Knyazeva, USUE  Vice-Rector for Extended Education and Career Guidance.
