Working meeting
USUAA hosted a meeting of the Council of Vice-Rectors for International Activities of universities of the Ural Federal District. It was chaired by Roman Krasnov, Vice-Rector for Social Work and Youth Policy of Ural State University of Economics.
The main agenda of the meeting included several key areas. Roman Krasnov summed up the results of the 15th Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, which this year became the largest in the history of its holding, and the results of the Victory Waltz campaign.
Particular attention was paid to the enrollment campaign - 2025, as well as to the opportunities for universities to participate in major international projects. Among them are the upcoming International Women’s Forum and the INNOPROM industrial exhibition. They discussed some issues of migration registration and control of foreign students. Besides, the Council presented the results of its annual work.
The meeting was attended by representatives of universities of the Ural Federal District, Alexander Kharlov, an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs RF in Yekaterinburg, Lyudmila Berg, Deputy Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk region, Kirill Slizov, deputy head of the Migration office of the Sverdlovsk region Department for Migration of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Irina Salova, head of the Department of International and Foreign Economic Relations of Yekaterinburg Administration.
