USUE Rector Yakov Silin and Rector of the Bashkir Academy of Public Service and Administration under the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Daniyar Abdrakhmanov have signed a cooperation agreement.
The signing of the document took place at the round table “Investments and economics of healthcare organization”, which discussed issues of retraining medical specialists.
Today in Bashkortostan, there is a shortage of about 2,000 doctors, and there are not enough specialists who could organize the work of a medical institution.
“If we combine the efforts of higher education institutions and health care systems of the two regions with rich experience, then this will bring useful results. I propose to consider cooperation both in extended education and in other projects,” said Yakov Silin, rector of Ural State University of Economics.
Vice-Rector for Digital Development of the Bashkir Academy of Public Service and Administration under the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ivan Sergienko agrees with the USUE Rector:
“For effective work, it is important to establish ties with the ministries of health of our regions, medical colleges and universities, with colleagues who are moving towards the same goal with us - improving the efficiency and the availability of medical care.
USUE and BAOSP will work together on the academic mobility program for teachers and students, help each other in improving the scientific qualifications of teachers, and publish combined methodological manuals. The cooperation agreement signed today is valid until 2028.
