Roy Damary told students about financial accounting

September 20, Roy Damary, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Managing Director of “Technomic Consultants SA” and the head of Business Studies at Robert Kennedy College (Zurich, Switzerland) delivered a lecture at Ural State University of Economics. The organizers of the lecture were the Department of Accounting and Auditing and the International Cooperation Office.

During the lecture, Roy Damary analyzed the key factors, linked the profit and loss account and balance sheet, considered the three components of cash flow, the weighted average cost of capital, and emphasized the basic principles of management accounting and procedures for analyzing financial statements.

Participants of the lecture were teachers of the Department of Accounting and Auditing, students majoring in "Accounting, analysis and audit", master’s students  and postgraduates, and students of the college. Roy Damary’s visit aroused great interest. The lecture was delivered in English with a professional translation of the associate professor of the Department of Business Foreign Language Tatyana Markova, who was perfect in translation of all difficult accounting terms.
