RUSTEM MARDANOV: “COOPERATION WITH USUE EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS”

On Wednesday, May 20, USUE rector Yakov Silin held a video conference with the head of the Ural Main Directorate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, Rustem Mardanov.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Regional Center for Financial Literacy and directors of USUE institutes. The parties summed up the results in the framework of the agreement signed a year ago, discussed prospects, and outlined ways for further cooperation.

“Analyzing our joint work, I can say that it is important for us both to preserve the traditional areas of cooperation and to supplement them, taking into account the current situation in the economy. Given that the financial school of the Ural is mainly concentrated in our University, I would like to invite colleagues to take part in our dissertation council. In the near future, we plan the defenses of Ph.D. and doctoral theses,” Yakov Silin said.

It is worth reminding that USUE and the Ural Main Directorate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation have been cooperating for about 10 years. However, the parties signed an official agreement for the first time in 2019, and now they plan to expand cooperation in the framework of scientific and practical research and joint conferences.
