HAPPY VICTORY DAY!

Congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov.

Dear veterans!

Dear colleagues!

Dear friends!

Congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory! May 9 is a special day that resonates in the hearts of each of us, uniting the entire country.

There is no family that was not affected by the Great Patriotic War. From generation to generation, the memory of the liberating soldiers and their exploits, of the home front workers who brought Victory closer with all their might, is carefully passed on.

Victory Day was and remains a symbol of the indestructible resilience of our people, a reminder of the surmountability of the most difficult trials.

Soviet science certainly made its contribution to the defeat of the Nazi invaders. Tens of thousands of students and postgraduates, teachers and researchers joined the ranks of the Red Army in the first months of the war to stand up with arms in defense of their beloved Motherland.

Leading universities and research institutes did not stop working. Their inventions were successfully used at the front and in the rear, allowing them to gain the upper hand in the fierce technological confrontation. It was then, in the most difficult war years, not without difficulty finding resources for such grandiose projects as work on uranium, that the USSR laid the foundation for its post-war technological leadership.

Today we not only pay tribute to veterans, whose feat is an example of true patriotism for us, but we also honor the heroes - our contemporaries who are fulfilling their military duty in the area of a special military operation.

Just like 80 years ago, our science and higher education, together with the entire country, provide all possible assistance to the front, conduct research in the interests of the defense industry, and provide support to participants in the special military operation.

To honor the memory of the Victory means to be worthy of the generation of victors, to defend sovereignty and achieve the most ambitious goals. A deep bow to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and all our heroes - soldiers and officers.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Victory Day, dear friends!

Congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov.
