Westernmost point of EEYF

USUE Vice-Rector for Social Work and Youth Policy Roman Krasnov is on a working visit to Kaliningrad, where he visited one of the sites of XIII EEYF.

The Western branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration is one of the eleven sites of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum and one of the key partners of USUE. The students of the branch will take part in the International Youth Competition for Startups in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry - “ProTourism2023”, and their younger comrades from the RANEPA College will take part in the competition “ProfKOD” (Professional Competences, Responsibility, Achievements).

During the visit, Roman Krasnov met with the acting director of the branch, Irina Kuksa. She explained that now the students were completing the preparation and formatting of their works, which would then be presented at the regional stage of both competitions. The authors of the best works, selected by experts, will go to Yekaterinburg in April of this year, where they will compete to win the international final.

The history of the Western branch of RANEPA began in 1946. By order of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the College of Soviet Trade was established in Kaliningrad. Its first graduation comprised only 150 people. For 77 years, the status of the educational institution has been enhanced, and the number of students has grown to four-and-a half thousand. In 2023, the Western branch of RANEPA joined EEYF.
