USUE entered the Moscow International University Ranking “Three University Missions” for the third time in a row. In total, this year’s list includes 152 Russian higher education institutions, three of which represent the Sverdlovsk Region.
In 2024, the prestigious ranking included the Ural State University of Economics, the Ural Federal University, and the Ural State Medical University. Among Russian universities, USUE is located in the 114-152 interval group, and among world universities - 1751-2000. In addition, USUE is one of three specialized Russian economic universities included in this ranking. Effective work in three key areas: education, science, and interaction with society allowed it to maintain its position.
“Over the past year, the volume of scientific work at USUE has increased by 10%, and our scientists’ scientific publications are reflected in international scientometric databases with a high citation index. The number of foreign students at the university is growing, the quality of education is improving. The university's presence in the information field is increasing: website traffic and the number of subscribers to official social media accounts are growing," said Viktor Blaginin, Head of the Department of Scientometrics, Research Work and Ratings at USUE.
The Moscow International University Ranking "Three University Missions" is the largest in Russia. It does not require expert assessments; open data from official university websites, official data from government agencies and independent international sources are used as sources of information. The initiator of the ranking was the Russian Rectors' Union.
