Cooperation between USUE and OshSU will continue
As the Memorandum of Cooperation between Osh State University and USUE has expired, USUE rector Yakov Silin and OshSU rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov discussed its renewal.
The heads of universities spoke about the development of academic mobility programs for students and teachers, implementation of double degree programs, and the organization of summer schools. Currently, two students of the OshSU Faculty of Business and Management came for six months to Yekaterinburg to study at USUE.
Among the participants were Director of the OshSU Department of International Relations Abdygan Abduvaliev, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management Timur Israilov, and the heads of departments of the faculty.
“Each university has its own strengths, and I noticed we would do well to learn from your university. I am confident that we will continue to reach new heights through cooperation. In the coming days, we will send our specialists in digitalization to gain experience at your university,” said Yakov Silin.
They will hold the ceremony of signing the agreement on cooperation between Osh State University and Ural State University of Economics within the framework of the IX Russian - Kyrgyz Interregional Conference to take place on June 8-10 in Yekaterinburg.
A month ago, during a videoconference, USUE rector Yakov Silin and OshSU rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov signed a roadmap for international scientific and educational development between Ural State University of Economics and Osh State University. The roadmap includes about twenty educational and research programs, aimed at increasing the competitiveness of partner universities in the global educational environment, developing cooperation in scientific, cultural and creative areas with organizations from near and far abroad, developing lines for joint research and innovation activities of young people.
Besides, USUE and OshSU will enter the Eurasian Network University. It will comprise fifteen universities from Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia. The Russian Federation is represented by the most famous higher educational institutions in the country. USUE is the only Ural university on this list. The Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Eurasian Network University was signed up at the meeting of rectors of universities of the EAEU member states in Bishkek on May 25.
