THE DEMAND FOR HR SPECIALISTS HAS INCREASED SEVERAL TIMES

February 25, USUE representatives took part in the first meeting of the Committee on Entrepreneurship in Personnel and Human Capital Management of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI).
 
The main goal of the Committee is to promote the effective and efficient development of small and medium-sized businesses in the Ural region through technologies for people management and organization development.

During the meeting, the participants shared their views on important personnel management issues that require discussion at the Committee events. According to USUE delegate, Svetlana Dolzhenko, the head of the USUE Department of Labor Economics and HR Management, the Committee establishment once again proves the importance of efficient human resource management and staffing of the right quality and quantity. Among interesting trends voiced by experts at the meeting, there was a significant increase in demand for HR specialists and their cost in the labor market. As for important and demanded competencies on the part of employers, they mentioned the knowledge of labor economics issues.   


 
In recognition of the experience of the USUE Department of Labor Economics and HR Management in the development of a professional standard for a labor economist, Svetlana Dolzhenko was offered to head the area of labor economics in the Committee. 

It bears mentioning that USUE and UCCI have a long-standing partnership. The participation in the work of the new Committee confirms the further development of close and successful cooperation.
