TO BECOME A MENTOR IS A RIGHT WAY FOR A FUTURE LEADER!
The 8th annual academy "I Am a Mentor" has started at Ural State University of Economics. In 2020, 111 USUE and college students will guide freshers to academic and social life. During three days, they will study the basics of psychology, analyze practical cases, and practice communication skills with students through educational modules that will be held in the format of lectures and interactive platforms.
The academy program is divided into two levels: for beginners and for those who have already been mentors last academic year. Participants will have to go through several educational modules: lectures on mentoring, communication games and leadership games for skills development, as well as mobile applications, where one can get basic communication skills with a group of students. All knowledge gained the students will apply in practice.
The program of the academy "I Am a Mentor" - 2020 will last until August 26, and on August 31, the newly-minted mentors will become acquainted with their academic groups as part of the Freshers’ Week. We wish them success in their studies and bright student life!
