USUE student became a laureate of the national contest Economic Growth of Russia

We congratulate a second-year student of the USUE Institute of Management and Information Technologies, Artyom Onoshko, who became a laureate of the XXIV national contest of research papers "Economic Growth of Russia” held among students of higher educational institutions." The young man received a special prize for the originality of the author's approach.

 The annual event was organized by the Free Economic Society of Russia with the support of the International Union of Economists, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation," Economic Newspaper publishing house, and the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This year, 432 research works from 99 cities, 11 rural settlements of 60 constituent entities of the Russian Federation were admitted to the second stage of the contest.    

Summarizing of the contest took place in late April, and the ceremony of awarding the winners and laureates took place on May 26, 2021, in Moscow as part of the III Moscow Academic Economic Forum.



“This year, the topics of the contestants' works were hot, focused on advanced achievements and modern technologies. I wish our young generation to be more literate, purposeful, and have strategic thinking compared to those who shape our economic policy. Our youth are participants in numerous discussions held by the Free Economic Society of Russia. It is a kind of school of thought, and at the same time a school of life,” Sergey Glazyev, the chairperson of the contest jury, vice-president of VEO Russia, said.  

The work of Artyom Onoshko was entitled "The introduction of electric vehicles in the infrastructure of RF cities," its scientific adviser was the associate professor of the USUE Department of Management and Entrepreneurship Tatiana Zagorulya.  

“The essence of my work is a possible strategy for the development of electric transport in Russia illustrated through the city of Yekaterinburg, as well as the publicity of this problem. The main bias of my work is aimed at studying the electric vehicle industry and changing the city's infrastructure to improve the efficiency of electric transport in Russian cities,” Artyom explained.


Addressing the laureates and winners of the contest, the president of the Free Economic Society of Russia, Sergei Bodrunov, expressed his deep hope for further meetings with these students at the Russian Academy of Sciences.
It is worth reminding that this contest has been held in all regions of Russia since 1996 aiming to involve and stimulate youth initiatives and creativity in independent scientific research to solve urgent problems of the social and economic development of Russia and its regions.
