USUE STUDENTS – RUNNERS-UP OF ALL-RUSSIA STUDENT OLYMPIAD 

Our congratulations to the fourth-year students of the USUE Institute of Economics with the second place in the team competition of the 3rd All-Russian Student Olympiad for students majoring in Economic Security!
 
In addition to team diplomas, USUE rector Yakov Silin presented student Yuri Pavlovsky with first place diplomas for winning the stages "Testing" and "Solving a case-task," as well as a second-place diploma for winning the individual competition.
 
Besides, a third-place diploma for victory at the stage "Solving a case-task" was awarded to a USUE student Naila Galiakbarova, and a third-place diploma for victory at the stage "Testing" went also to our student Sergei Pastukhov.

 
The Olympiad took place online from November 26 through November 28, 2020, at South Ural State University in Chelyabinsk. Besides USUE, 17 teams from leading Russian universities took part in the event: Russian Technological University, Baikal State University, Altai State University, Ural Institute of Management (Branch of RANEPA), Perm State National Research University, Kurgan State University, Tyumen State University, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Chelyabinsk State University, South Ural State University, Samara State Technical University, and Bashkir State University.         
 
 Future economists are planning to make a scientific report “Information Threats to Economic Security” at the XI Eurasian Economic Youth Forum “Russia and Regions of the World: The Embodiment of Ideas and Economy of Opportunities.” We wish them good luck!
