USUE STUDENTS HAVE WON ALL-RUSSIA OLYMPIADS ON ACCOUNTING 

Last week, there were two All-Russia Olympiads on Accounting and Auditing, where the winners were USUE third-year students specialized in Accounting, Analysis, and Audit.
 
May 18, 2020, North-Caucasus Federal University hosted the All-Russia Olympiad on Accounting. Competitions were held remotely using electronic resources of the university's Olympiad portal.
327 students from 40 institutions of higher and secondary professional education from 24 entities of Russia took part in the competitions. USUE, the largest university in the region, was represented by 60 students from the Institute of Economics and Management.

The Olympiad was held in the form of electronic testing; the participants solved 31 tasks, including several practical situational tests in specialized disciplines.

Total team-placing was as follows:  

1st place – the team of 3rd-year students of Ural State University of Economics, Yekaterinburg, Russia; 
2nd place - the team of 3rd-year students of Baikal State University, Irkutsk; 
3rd place - the team of 4th-year students of Baikal State University, Irkutsk.
