Only by joining efforts one can achieve progress
USUE rector Yakov Silin during his working visit to Azerbaijan met with Mansur Barkhudarov, director of the Russian Economic School (RES) of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).

During the XII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum held in April 2022, Mansur Barkhudarov took part in the Forum of Rectors, which brought together over 60 representatives of universities in Russia and the CIS countries. The scientists discussed issues of the patriotic education of students and networking of universities in the context of changing international economic relations.
It was then that the director of RES said: “In unity, there is strength. Only by joining our efforts, it is possible to advance along the path of progress. I hope that our cooperation will bear fruit in the near future.”
Today, together with the USUE rector, they discussed the cooperation agreement signed on the sidelines of the XII EEYF including the joint implementation of educational and scientific programs, exchange of reference and scientific publications, conduct of joint scientific research, and joint participation in international educational projects.
For the UNEC Russian Economic School, expanding cooperation with Russian universities settles two important tasks - expanding teaching programs in Russian and gaining access to practices in the best economic schools in Russia. The project was initially developed with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo. Therefore, under the new geopolitical conditions, UNEC is actively developing ties with its strategic partners in Russia. Undoubtedly, USUE is one of these partners.
Yakov Silin, in turn, noted the systemic nature of the relationship between Russian and Azerbaijani universities in the framework of various programs to strengthen partnerships in the Eurasian region. He expressed gratitude to colleagues from the neighboring republic for their openness to dialogue and development of bilateral relations between our countries in education and research.
