Even the walls help to study
5 groups of students started classes just according to the number of new classrooms opened, as Oksana Bazhenova, head of the USUE International Cooperation Office, said. Students from different countries study at the preparatory faculty of Ural State University of Economics. For 10 months they learn the basic Russian language and become acquainted with the history and traditions of our country.
This year, the faculty expects more international students to arrive - about 500 persons from 68 countries. Therefore, there was a need for additional classrooms.
One of the university premises underwent a complete reconstruction: partitions were installed, doors, floors, and electrical wiring were replaced, walls were painted, new desks, chairs, and multimedia boards were purchased.
“I am very pleased to come to the university for classes. I like not only the teachers but also the classrooms. The premises are new, comfortable, and clean!” a student from Egypt, Youssef Ali Mohammed Gaffar, noted.
According to Oksana Bazhenova, the university administration tried to ensure that guests from other countries feel comfortable within the walls of USUE and show academic achievements.
