One of the largest job search services has presented a ranking of Russian universities in terms of salaries of graduates 2017-2022 working in the field of economics and finance. Only two Ural universities - USUE and UrFU - were among the best.

 

Ural State University of Economics took 14th place in the SuperJob ranking, as in 2022. The average salaries of graduates in the sectors of economics and finance of this educational institution increased by 5,000 rubles over the year and today they average 80,000 rubles a month. For comparison, according to Sverdlovskstat data for spring 2023, the average salary in the Sverdlovsk region was 60,719 rubles (before personal income tax deduction). The average salary in Yekaterinburg in March reached 72,581 rubles.

75% of USUE graduates stayed in the city of study. In 2022, the average USE score for applicants upon admission was 84.3 points.


In the top three there are Moscow State Institute of International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Higher School of Economics, and M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin took 12th place (since last year, the position has not changed).
