PROTECT YOURSELF FROM COVID-19

Hygiene and the use of personal protective equipment are important measures to prevent the spread of influenza and coronavirus infection.

Dear friends! Dear students, teachers, staff, and colleagues! I want to appeal to you with a reminder: for six months now, we have been working, living, and studying under the specific conditions of coronavirus pandemic. We all heard about it and someone is already tired of it. But, on the eve of a new academic year, I would like to remind you that this trouble has not gone far. And it is not without reason that we have been publishing, sending and distributing such reminders to you for several months so that you could be acquainted with how you can prevent the trouble , and if it has already come to your house, if, God forbid, you are sick, then how to act to be healed as quickly as possible.

To everyone who went home on vacation, who is in other cities, regions, and countries, I would like to remind and ask to think about yourself. You must have supplies of face masks and other personal protective equipment that are needed. Do not expect that someone will think of you, that someone will do everything for you. The University is taking many measures to keep you and the team safe: we have a supply of face masks and disinfectants. For many months, we systematically sanitize the entire University to stop the disease and prevent its spread.

The academic year begins on September 1 and we hope that you are well aware that a successful start of the year and successful training will largely depend on you, me, the staff and faculty. Let's unite together so that the academic year is successful, that you study well, and your health does not let you down. In case of any problems, we will help everyone individually.

View the video message from USUE rector Yakov Silin as of April 23 in which he answers questions about payment for a dormitory: what about those students who are currently living and planning to leave the dormitory, or those who have already left, when they can return to the dormitory and how to deal with payment.
