USUE GAINS A NEW PARTNER 

Vice-rector for social work of Ural State University of Economics, Roman Krasnov, held online negotiations with Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Bukhara State University (Republic of Uzbekistan), Abror Zhuraev, to prepare an agreement on cooperation between the two universities.    

From USUE, the meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector for Continuing Education and Career Guidance, Elena Knyazeva, Director of the Institute of Master’s Studies, Alla Matveeva, and Director of the Institute of Continuous and Distance Education, Yekaterina Yalunina.    


 
Roman Krasnov made a presentation of the University, told about the history of its establishment, informed on the areas of training for bachelor's and master's degrees, and outlined the priority tasks of the University with special attention paid to issues of international cooperation, in particular the development of relations with Uzbekistan. In 2021, USUE has eight valid partnership agreements with Uzbek universities.
 
The parties agreed to draw up a roadmap with a plan of joint activities for the year, which will be included in the draft cooperation agreement. Roman Krasnov suggested to the BukhSU leadership to sign the document in a solemn atmosphere within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum through the involvement of distinguished guests. The suggestion was welcomed.
