USUE and TSUE, what do they have in common?
On October 13, a delegation from Ural State University of Economics, consisting of Prof. Dmitry Karkh, Doctor of Economics, and Associate Prof. Ekaterina Yalunina, Doctor of Economics, met with the rector of Tashkent State University of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Tulkin Teshabaev, and the dean of the faculty of the TSUE-USUE joint international educational program, Doctor of Economics, Professor Boburzhon Izbosarov.
The parties discussed improving the quality of education students receive pursuing programs in such areas as Economics and Management, as well as prospects for the further development of joint programs.
During the meeting, Dmitry Karkh emphasized that the implementation of this educational project was fully consistent with the strategies for the development of educational activities of our universities for the next few years. "Obtaining two degrees from leading universities in Russia and Uzbekistan is an undeniable competitive advantage for program graduates."
The joint international educational program between TSUE and USUE was launched in accordance with paragraph 7 of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan №3775 dated May 5, 2018, " On additional measures to improve the quality of education in institutions of higher education and ensure their active participation in the comprehensive reforms that are implemented in the country." On August 15, 2018, USUE and TSUE signed an agreement on training personnel to teach bachelor’s students in several areas. Today, 1,191 Uzbek citizens are studying at USUE.
