USUE - A PLATFORM FOR DISCUSSION ECONOMIC ISSUES IN ENGLISH

March 16-18, the IV international contest of student research-to-practice works "Russia in the Global World: Challenges of the XXI Century" is being held at USUE. The contest has been run by the USUE Department of Business Foreign Language since 2018. In 2021, students from USUE, RANEPA, and Petrozavodsk State University are taking part in it.     

 
The competition is organized by the USUE Department of Business Foreign Language in English. It is a unique feature of the competition platform, where a foreign language is used to discuss economic issues! In 2021, within the contest, there are seven sections:

- The future under inequality in the modern global world.

- The role of globalization and regionalization: challenges and opportunities.

- Digitalization of the world economy: challenges and opportunities for countries of different levels of development.

- Prospects for foreign economic activity in the regions of Russia.

- Marketing in Russia and abroad: current state and development prospects.

- Up-to-date efficient management: issues and options.

- HR management under present-day conditions: challenges and prospects.

Students-competitors make presentations summing up the results of their research works on hot issues of economy, foreign economic activity, management, marketing, HR, and digitalization. 56 students will deliver presentations both online (based on Teams) and in person.
