USUE lecturer acted as an expert in the international festival Shashlyk-Mashlyk in Grozny

The second International Festival of Tourism and Leisure, which brought together a large number of chefs and tourists from different subjects and countries, was held in the flower park "Grozny-City". The event brought together the best chefs of the North Caucasus, Vladimir Oblast and 11 Russian cities. Among the participants were the cities which will host FIFA World Cup matches. All in all , more than 5 thousand people took part in the festival.

The guests could taste the most delicious dishes, get advice from the virtuoso cooks, and see how they compete among themselves.  

And the jury had a difficult task: to choose the best dish from all the variety provided. This year among the favorites were meat dishes cooked in open fire on a specially equipped arena.

Yekaterinburg was represented by the chef Sergey Meshcheryagin. He   cooked Ural sausages of    venison with   elk fat and   pearl barley porridge with   meat sauce of boiled   game meat with   cranberry dip . The dish of the Ural cook was acknowledged as the most authentic one, however the first place was taken by Zoran Velkovich  from Nizhny Novgorod  in the nomination "The best chef of cities- World Cup 2018 organizers" .
