USUE - Ural source of manpower for Yamal

Ural State University of Economics hosted a working meeting with representatives of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YNAO). The delegation was led by YNAO deputy governor Yevgeny Gurary. Among the delegates there were Mikhail Anatolyevich Golenok, head of the HR Management Department of the YNAO Governor’s Office, and Adrian Andreevich Evstafyev, chief specialist.

The purpose of the visit was to engage in an open dialogue with USUE students about career opportunities in one of Russia’s most dynamically developing regions. Yevgeny Gurary, being a native of the Urals, shared with the students the story of his professional growth and his move to the autonomous okrug.

The key subject of the meeting was “Yamolod.Internship” project launched in the region and aimed at attracting talented and ambitious young professionals to the autonomous okrug, who are ready to relocate, work hard, and enter fair competition.

The deputy governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug spoke in detail about Yamal’s economic potential, key development vectors, and the region’s staffing needs. He placed particular emphasis on the shortage of qualified specialists and the region’s willingness to offer young people interesting challenges and opportunities for professional development.

At the end of the meeting, Yevgeny Gurary thanked USUE management for organizing the meeting and the opportunity to interact with students, a significant portion of whom were from Yamal and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug–Yugra.
