USUE at TEMP

Elina Zakirova, director of the Institute of Continuing Education at Ural State University of Economics, took part in the TEMP Global Metalworking and Additive Manufacturing Forum, which took place on October 1-3 in Kazan. She moderated the panel session “Finding Efficient Points of Automation at an Enterprise.”

This international event brought together 115 companies from Russia, China, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Belarus. Over 5,000 industry specialists attended the forum.

The business program of the TEMP forum focused on issues of robotics, digital transformation, personnel training, and investments.

At the roundtable discussion “Finding Efficient Points of Automation,” Elina Zakirova presented a report “Forming a Talent Pool: From Industrial Tourism to Industrial Management.” During her presentation, she described a comprehensive approach to succession pipeline—from attracting young people through industrial tourism to training senior executives through retraining programs, on-the-job postgraduate programs, and crash master’s programs using distance learning technologies implemented through the Institute of Distance Learning at USUE.
