From September 23 to 26, 2025, Saratov N.G. Chernyshevsky National Research State University hosted the 6th International Scientific Conference and 10th All-Russian Youth Scientific Forum “Science of the Future – Science of the Youth.” From over 3,000 applications, the organizers selected over 300 papers, dividing them into ten thematic areas. The selection process took into account the projects' alignment with the country's scientific and technological development priorities and the authors' significant scientific achievements. Participants included representatives from all regions of Russia and over 20 foreign countries.

Ural State University of Economics was represented at the forum by Elizaveta Sokolova, a second-year postgraduate student in Regional and Sectoral Economics and a leading specialist in the USUE Scientometrics Department. She was ranked among the top 15 postgraduate students in the area of Social Sciences in the country and presented a paper on “Current Publication Activity Trends and Prospects for the Development of Scientific Cooperation in BRICS+ Countries within Economics and Management.”

“The event brought together truly profound papers that address the country's development priorities,” Elizaveta Sokolova shared her impressions of the event. “Even the section experts themselves remarked, 'You could even defend dissertations with these papers.'” Participants and some jury members expressed interest in the applicability of my results to their universities. They were interested in USUE's experience in this area and offered ideas for expanding the scope of the work. The diversity of other educational activities at the forum is also worth noting. I was able to participate in six master classes, ranging from public speaking to commercialization of research results. I hope to bring much of this to the work of our Student Scientific Society and the USUE Council of Young Scientists.
Elizaveta Sokolova's involvement underscores USUE's role in advancing new science and fostering university collaborations. The university congratulates her on this outstanding achievement and looks forward to further application of this experience in research projects.
