USUE will enter the Eurasian Network University
USUE Rector Yakov Silin takes part in the meeting of university rectors of the EAEU member states on the establishing of the Eurasian Network University in Bishkek.
The purpose of the meeting is to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Eurasian Network University and the further functioning of the program and to agree on the format of subsequent meetings.
Fifteen universities from Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia will enter the Eurasian Network University. The Russian Federation is represented by the most famous higher educational institutions in the country. USUE is the only Ural university on this list.
At the meeting of university rectors of the EAEU member states at M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz Economic University, Sergey Glazyev, member of the Board (Minister) for the main areas of integration and macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, made a report “On the implementation of paragraphs 10.1 and 10.2 of the Strategic Directions for Developing the Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025.” Rector of Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichiy spoke about the draft Memorandum of Understanding on the Eurasian Network University establishing.
The establishment of an EAEU- based network university will contribute to new political, economic and social order and will allow both to adapt to changes and to achieve considerable success in the processes of globalization and integration.
Today, USUE rector Yakov Silin met with KEU rector Almaz Kadyraliev. The heads of universities discussed existing and new projects. Besides, there was a meeting of USUE rector Yakov Silin and BSEU rector Alexey Yegorov at the EAEU forum held by the Eurasian Economic Commission in Bishkek. They discussed options for further cooperation between universities to develop a single scientific and technological environment of Russia and Belarus.
